                            Nissan Armada fixed with great communication

                            2 year old Certified used Armada would no longer go in reverse. I knew Nissan would replace the transmission, but I was unsure which dealership I should use. Round Rock Nissan had the best reviews I could find of any close by dealerships. They fixed it and kept good communication with me the whole time. Would go again.So far so good on quality of repairs. I will update at a later date with stars if I am able to.

                            This was my tenth car buying experience, my ninth Honda. Happily I can say this was probably the best out of all ten. I went into the dealership feeling anxious and irritable due to previous experiences. We were prepared to spend a long frustrating day of test drives and credit checks. Fortunately I knew the exact car I wanted and they had it, even with my first color choice. Our credit score is great and the finance manager acknowledged that and was very efficient with the paperwork. There were no feelings of frustration or disappointment as in previous car buying experiences. We walked out with what we came for and it only took a couple of hours. A for real win-win situation.

                            I recently purchased a new Nissan Frontier from Town North Nissan. It was the best car buying experience I've had to date! I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience starting with working with the sales consultant, to signing the final paperwork with the finance manager Daniella. My experience working with Sean Romaka, the sales consultant, was excellent. Sean took the time to understand what I was looking for in a truck and helped me understand all the options available. The best part about working with Sean was that I never felt like he was pressuring me, and he genuinely wanted me to make the best decision for myself. Also, Sean is knowledgeable about the inventory of the dealership as well as the various offerings from Nissan. He made me aware of an edition of the Frontier that I didn't know existed which was the edition I eventually purchased. Sean is an extremely likable person and someone I will be returning to when we need to purchase a new vehicle for my wife.                             Based on my recent experience (Well, I don't know if it's because it's my first time there), this place seemed to be a Guininely HONEST place to transact business. I took my Nissan for check up/services because the A/C didn't work. It was checked out, and I wasn't billed for anything even though the vehicle was monitored for 2 days. I was told that nothing seemed to be wrong. They were completely transparent. (Well, other service centers would have had a charge whether any work was performed or not). Went in for my 55,000 mile maintenance. Drove in, waited less than a minute for Angel Hernandez (my maintenance advisor who remembers my name and is very informative and patient) who explained to me what was to be done to my car, left my keys on my dash, went in their customer waiting area, had some coffee, some good donuts, sat in their computer room to do some work on my laptop, when the service was done Angel personally notifies me my car is done. The Inspection report was also sent to me via online and if I had any questions, Angel was there to answer no matter how silly my questions seemed. He even told me what was to be done when my car will be serviced next time. Easy, Simple, Done! Excellent service all around!

                            120K mile service for my 2010 Toyota Prius

                            I went to Folsom Lake Toyota on 2/8/2020 for the 120K mile service on my 2010 Toyota Prius. I had the fortune that my service advisor that day was Gibriel Kargbo. Mr. Kargbo was extremely helpful and explained all the options I had for my 120K mile service. He is very knowledgeable about Priuses, especially since he owns a 2005 and a 2015 with over 315K miles and 400K miles on them.He answered my questions about the service giving me options and not pressuring me to make any decision.While I was at home waiting for my car to be serviced, Mr. Kargbo kept me informed of the progress of the work being done on my car by texts and phone calls. I had been aware that my care had had a seal leak for quite a while. Mr. Kargbo called me to notify me that the leak had become bigger and suggested that the seal leak be fixed, again without pressuring me to have it fixed. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone answering my questions and giving me options. He even sent me a picture of the the engine showing how much oil was dripping over various parts of the engine. Since some parts were being replaced as part of the service, it made sense to me to have the seal leak fixed. This meant that my car had to be kept until Monday.On Monday, Mr. Kargbo texted me several times to give me estimates as to when my car was going to be ready.Overall, I appreciated the time Mr. Kargbo put in to explain what the 120K service entailed, answer my questions, tell me about his two Priuses, and keep me informed of the progress being made on my car. This is the kind of customer service I value and will be requesting him to be service advisor from now on.

Gibriel explained that it sounded more like a torque converter, based upon what I was describing, but that we would know precisely what the issue is after a thorough diagnostic.Master Technician David Kim expertly diagnosed my vehicle's technical issue and confirmed that the torque converter was, in fact, failing.                             I was planning to take my car for its regularly scheduled service and a light appeared on my dashboard. I stopped by after work and talked to one service person who was obviously tired and ready to go home. He shared every reason why I couldn't get service that day and may "have to wait for a while because there was a car that had been in their shop for 2 weeks." I tried to remain positive and opted to go online to schedule another date and time (and service tech)! Fortunately, Stevi was assigned to my service appointment. I arrived a little tardy due to the weather, but she was very pleasant, kind, professional and helpful with my concerns.
